Holiday Inn Winchester, an IHG Hotel, is a perfect destination for travelers with mobility issues. The hotel offers good parking facilities and is easily accessible by car. It is also situated in a perfectly accessible location, making it easy to access for all guests. For those who require charging facilities for electric cars, the hotel has got you covered. All guest rooms come equipped with most amenities included in the price, including a window that opens in the bedroom. However, it is worth bearing in mind that there are no bathroom facilities on the ground floor, requiring guests to go downstairs. Additionally, the hotel's disabled guest room is located on the first floor, which may pose difficulties in the case of an emergency. Nevertheless with its value for money and easy accessibility, Holiday Inn Winchester is one of the best hotel choices in Winchester.

The accessibility of the Winchester Wessex Hotel by Sunday presents several challenges for guests with disabilities. While a suitable room was provided for a guest with a disabled partner, the overall experience highlighted the hotel's limitations in accessibility. Guests noted that the lifts were small and sometimes required using the rear entrance, which was not always promptly attended to. There was a lack of disabled parking, and numerous stairs made it difficult for those with mobility issues, particularly with no disabled access at the front of the hotel. Furthermore, the absence of ramps and the need for renovations, such as improving shower accessibility, were underscored as areas needing attention. Despite these shortcomings, some parts of the hotel were described as clean and accessible, though comments indicated that improvements are essential to better accommodate disabled guests.
