Hotel Tullnerfeld is strategically positioned just outside the city of Tulln, making it ideal for those seeking tranquility and accessibility. Its proximity to the Danube bike path, shopping opportunities and eateries, including a nearby Burger King, adds to the convenience, particularly for event attendees and cyclists. However, the hotel's somewhat remote location makes it less ideal for those reliant on public transport.
Guests consistently praise the hotel's breakfast, describing it as abundant and varied with options ranging from pastries to fresh fruit and good coffee. The breakfast room is clean and the staff accommodating, although the breakfast hours are limited on weekdays.
Dining options in the immediate vicinity are limited, mainly comprising fast food outlets. Guests often need to travel further for more varied dining experiences, either by driving or taking a taxi.
The hotel rooms are modern, clean and functionally designed with comfortable beds and well-appointed bathrooms. However, they are somewhat small with limited storage and some face noisy areas. There's no air conditioning, minibar or in-room tea/coffee facilities. The lack of an elevator might also pose issues for guests with heavy luggage or mobility challenges.
Cleanliness is a notable strength with well-maintained rooms and common areas enhancing the overall experience. Minor issues, such as dirty windows or crumbs around beds, occasionally detract from this otherwise positive aspect.
The staff at Hotel Tullnerfeld is frequently lauded for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing significantly to a positive guest experience. They are proficient in English and attentive to guests' needs, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
While the hotel offers free Wi-Fi, connectivity can be spotty and the lack of clear information regarding access can be inconvenient. Parking facilities, however, are praised for their ample space and convenience with secure options for both cars and bicycles.
The beds are generally comfortable, though some guests find them too narrow or soft. Bedding quality has been a point of contention for a few visitors but overall, the sleep experience remains positive.
Accessibility is another strong suit with well-designed rooms for guests with disabilities and ample parking. The hotel is reachable by public transport, though not prominently located. Dog-friendly amenities further enhance its appeal, accommodating pets comfortably with dedicated facilities and services.
In summary, Hotel Tullnerfeld stands out for its strategic location, excellent breakfast, modern and clean rooms and friendly staff. Its amenities cater well to cyclists, event attendees and pet owners, although dining options and room features might require some planning ahead.
