Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hôtel La Nonette ASTERIX, CDG Airport & Paris Centre enjoys a strategic location that appeals to both leisure travelers and those seeking convenience. Its close proximity to Parc Astérix makes it perfect for families looking for adventure, while the nearby train station facilitates easy access to Paris and its attractions. Chantilly, with its picturesque castle, is a short distance away, adding historical charm to guests' experiences. The hotel is also near a forest, offering a natural retreat. The overall convenience of the location enhances guests' stay, providing seamless access to cultural sites and the vibrant heart of Paris.
While the hotel does not offer breakfast, there is a café next door with charming new owners who provide a pleasant atmosphere for dining. However, guests should be aware of the need to reserve breakfast at this café. Suggestions for improvement include providing amenities like a kettle and microwave to enhance guests’ morning routines.
In terms of accommodation, rooms are noted for their cleanliness, with friendly staff contributing to a positive atmosphere. However, they are somewhat basic and show signs of wear, making them suitable for short stays. Guests have pointed out areas needing improvement, including beds and mattresses that are often uncomfortable, ineffective blackout curtains, and poor sound insulation. Bathrooms may pose challenges for some guests, and space can be tight for families. Despite these concerns, the hotel's functionality can serve those in transit or on brief stopovers.
Cleanliness receives mixed reviews. While some rooms and common areas are clean, there are frequent reports of issues, especially in bathrooms, such as mold and dirt. Other complaints include leftover food, human hair on beds, and unemptied trash, suggesting a need for improved cleanliness standards.
Staff members are consistently praised for their warmth, friendliness, and helpfulness. Their dedication and resourcefulness greatly enhance the guest experience, even resolving room issues and accommodating late arrivals. The charming demeanor of the staff significantly contributes to the hotel's appeal, though there was a rare instance of inconsistency with one staff member.
Hôtel La Nonette offers a welcoming atmosphere for families, ideal for trips to Parc Astérix. Family rooms can accommodate up to six people, although they may feel cramped for larger groups, making them better suited for short stays with young children.
The hotel's bedding receives mixed feedback. While some guests find the beds comfortable, others report issues with worn-out mattresses and hard pillows, as well as instances of dirty duvets and sheets. Despite the availability of double and twin beds, preferences may not always be accommodated. While some guests had restful sleep, there is an opportunity to improve consistency in bedding comfort and cleanliness.
