Trompeterschlössle Hotel & Residence generally offers good accessibility for guests with disabilities with well-organized and well-thought-out rooms. Many appreciated the convenient location close to transportation and the reasonable walk to town. The rooms are well-equipped, featuring light switches conveniently located and adequate storage options in the bathroom.
However, there are notable areas needing improvement. The hotel's showers in bathtubs are not suited for persons with low mobility, although there are ground-level showers available. Guests needing better accessibility are advised to request rooms with a regular shower. While accessible rooms are provided, some bathrooms still pose challenges for those with mobility issues.
Despite being accessible by car and featuring accessible areas, pathways around the hotel could be improved for wheelchair users. There is a lack of ramps to the hotel's entrance and some rooms offer limited space for wheelchairs to maneuver easily. Additionally, more comprehensive signage for accessible areas would enhance the overall experience. The hotel's website description also sets high expectations, which some felt were not fully met, particularly noting that preservation efforts seem to focus more on the exterior.
