Rio Quente Resorts - Hotel Pousada, situated within the Rio Quente Resorts complex, is praised for its exceptional location, providing easy access to major attractions like Parque das Fontes and Hot Park. The proximity to beautiful swimming pools and natural hot springs contributes to a convenient and enjoyable stay, particularly appreciated by families. The surrounding scenic and tranquil environment further enhances the guests' experience.
The breakfast offerings receive high praise for their variety and quality with a diverse selection of fruits, tapioca, waffles, eggs and yogurts, contributing to a satisfying start to the day. Dinner, while having some positive highlights, such as well-prepared meals at the Cora restaurant and the pizzeria, faces criticism for its high prices and repetitive menus. Special events like the Christmas dinner at Hotel Cristal stand out positively.
Guest feedback on the rooms is mixed. Positive aspects include spacious room sizes and comfortable beds and pillows. Unfortunately, the rooms often need significant renovations and face maintenance issues like mold, faulty air conditioning and outdated facilities. Cleanliness outside the rooms, particularly around the pools and public areas, is well-maintained, though room cleaning services can be inconsistent.
The staff receives commendation for friendliness and attentiveness, particularly specific individuals providing exceptional service. However, the reception staff often falls short with reports of rude and unhelpful behavior.
Despite the positive remarks, the resort's WiFi is generally perceived as inadequate with many guests experiencing unreliability and poor connectivity. On the brighter side, the fitness center is well-received for its modern equipment and structured activities, adding to the resort's appeal. The pools are consistently highlighted as a standout feature, known for their cleanliness and pleasant temperature.
The family-friendly environment is a significant draw with numerous activities and attractions for children, clean and spacious rooms and a variety of dining options. Parents appreciate the energetic entertainers and convenient amenities like the baby food service, making it a paradise for families.
While the beds receive mixed reviews with some guests finding them comfortable and others citing issues with old mattresses and inadequate bedding, the overall comfort level varies and could benefit from improvements.
Overall, Rio Quente Resorts – Hotel Pousada offers excellent infrastructure and amenities that align with a four-star rating, although the value for the price is sometimes questioned. The natural beauty, robust family-friendly activities and general ambiance make it a popular choice for family vacations and serene getaways.
