Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel First Eco Savigny Villemoisson Centre Commercial Carrefour has been praised for its strategic and convenient location. Guests appreciate its proximity to essential amenities such as a shopping center, grocery stores, hardware stores, gas stations and dining options like Buffalo Grill and McDonald's. Its closeness to Orly Airport and a nearby train station, which offers direct connections to Paris, along with its accessibility to major highways, makes it an ideal choice for travelers in transit or on the road. The hotel is pleasantly situated near a shady park and offers convenient parking options, making it a practical choice for those traveling by car. Despite some difficulties in pinpointing the exact location and its distance from downtown, the reasonable price and advantageous location make it a favorable choice for many guests.
The room quality varies significantly with some guests appreciating clean and relatively comfortable bedding along with standard amenities like their own sinks, windows and mirrors. However, there are numerous reports of severe cleanliness issues, including dusty rooms, food remnants, hair, dampness and dirty conditions upon arrival. The bedding quality is often poor with some guests finding burn marks and unpleasant smells of tobacco, hair in sheets, stained or unwashed linens and neglected equipment in the rooms. Noise disruption and technical issues like broken lights and malfunctioning windows also detract from the overall experience.
Cleanliness has been a major concern with consistent reports of dirty conditions, unpleasant odors ranging from musty to chemical and bedbug infestations. Bathrooms and communal areas are frequently described as filthy with inadequate cleaning practices leading to visible signs of neglect such as dirty floors, dust, leftover hair and dirty linens. These issues have led to an overall unpleasant experience for many guests.
Staff experiences are mixed. While many guests note the friendly and professional demeanor of several receptionists and a warm, helpful welcome from some staff, there are significant inconsistencies in staff behavior. Some guests found it difficult to find assistance at the reception, encountered language barriers and reported unprofessional and rude behavior from certain staff members.
The WiFi service at the hotel receives mixed feedback. Some guests were able to connect and use the internet, while others reported issues like no internet connection and limited or no WiFi availability in rooms. This appears to be an area needing improvement to meet guest expectations.
Parking receives mixed reviews but is generally appreciated for its availability, both free and paid. However, the parking lot can be frequently full and feel disorganized, sometimes causing inconvenience and security concerns due to the presence of suspicious individuals.
The beds receive mixed feedback as well. Some guests found them comfortable and clean, while others reported issues such as bed bugs, dirty bedding, burn marks and blankets with holes. The practice of pushing two single beds together to form a double bed has led to discomfort for several guests.
In summary, Hotel First Eco Savigny Villemoisson Centre Commercial Carrefour offers a conveniently located, reasonably priced stay with friendly staff and accessible parking. However, significant improvements are needed in room cleanliness, maintenance, WiFi service and consistency in staff professionalism to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
