The Quality Inn St Paul-Minneapolis-Midway offers a conveniently located option for travelers looking to explore both Minneapolis and St. Paul. The secure, well-lit parking lot is an added advantage for guests arriving or leaving after dark, although some are less impressed with the surrounding neighborhood.
While the breakfast offerings at the hotel are minimal, consisting mainly of snacks in a brown paper bag with coffee available throughout the day, some guests appreciate this convenience. However, those expecting a more comprehensive breakfast selection might be disappointed.
The hotel rooms are generally noted for their cleanliness, yet recurring mentions of unpleasant odors and occasional maintenance issues suggest areas for improvement. The structure of the hotel may seem a bit dated, and the absence of nearby dining options could pose a minor inconvenience for some.
Cleanliness across the hotel garners mixed reviews, with some guests pointing out issues such as unclean sheets, stained carpets, and distinct odors. These concerns highlight a discrepancy between expectations set by online images and the reality experienced by some visitors.
The hotel staff receive praise for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing positively to many guests' stays. Yet, experiences vary, with reports of unfriendly behavior and inconsistent availability at the front desk. For those prioritizing warmth and attentiveness, interactions with the staff may vary based on specific circumstances.
