Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Days Inn by Wyndham Savannah Airport generally garners positive feedback for several key aspects, enhancing its appeal to a variety of travelers. The hotel's strategic location close to Savannah Airport and a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Savannah makes it an ideal choice for those seeking convenience without heavy traffic. Guests particularly appreciate its proximity to local eateries, gas stations and job sites, despite some remarks about the immediate vicinity's lack of attractions and a "sketchy" feel.
The breakfast offerings receive mixed reactions. Some guests enjoy the bright and airy breakfast area with croissants and muffins, but many feel the selection is limited and minimalistic. However, the Hercules Bar and Grill on-site is praised for its quality meals and excellent service, providing a convenient dining option for dinner.
Rooms in the hotel are described as spacious and comfortable by many guests with king beds and clean surroundings. However, there are some concerns about musty smells, outdated furnishings and occasional cleanliness issues, such as dirty floors and moldy ceilings. The general cleanliness of the property varies with some guests noting well-maintained areas while others encounter more severe issues.
The exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, often mentioned in reviews, significantly enhance the guest experience. Specific individuals like Bonnie at the front desk receive consistent praise for their attentive service.
While WiFi availability is noted by several guests, there are mixed reviews on the quality of the internet connection, ranging from good to slow and inconsistent. The outdoor pool is a popular amenity with many guests describing it as clean and enjoyable, despite occasional maintenance issues like algae and foul smells.
Families find the hotel suitable with family rooms and a lively, child-friendly atmosphere. Grab-n-go breakfast options and the hotel's reasonable prices add to its appeal for budget-conscious travelers. The beds are frequently mentioned as very comfortable, contributing to restful nights.
For guests with disabilities, the hotel offers key accessibility features, including ground-floor rooms and wheelchair-accessible showers. However, some common areas like the pool have occasional maintenance issues.
Lastly, pet owners will find a welcoming environment with a spacious dog-walking area and a reasonable daily pet fee.
Overall, Days Inn by Wyndham Savannah Airport provides a comfortable and convenient stay with friendly service, making it a practical choice for travelers. However, attention to cleanliness and maintenance could further enhance the guest experience.
