The Quality Inn Mount Vernon enjoys a prime location close to Washington D.C., making it an ideal choice for both tourists and business travelers. Guests appreciate its easy access to public transportation, favorable rates, ample parking and the nearby family-friendly amenities including restaurants, shopping centers and pharmacies. The quiet and comfortable location is visually appealing and adds to its charm.
Breakfast at the hotel garners generally positive reviews. Guests enjoy a nicely stocked and clean dining room with features like waffle and pancake machines and some appreciate the convenient to-go bags. While there are occasional criticisms about variety and maintenance issues, overall, the breakfast experience is considered satisfactory.
The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with many guests finding the beds particularly comfortable. Cleanliness is a notable strong point with most rooms and premises described as extremely clean. The comfortable and clean beds contribute to an overall pleasant stay. However, some complaints include occasional odors, noise from appliances and sporadic reports of unpleasant finds like cockroaches or dirty bathrooms. Despite these drawbacks, ongoing renovations suggest future improvements.
The standout feature of Quality Inn Mount Vernon is the exceptional staff, repeatedly praised for their friendliness, professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction. Front desk personnel, particularly Tracy and Miss Tanya, are often mentioned for their outstanding customer service and kindness, fostering a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
Parking receives favorable feedback with guests appreciating the large and convenient free parking space. Although it can get somewhat crowded and exiting onto the highway can be challenging, the positive aspects far outweigh these minor issues.
