The hotel's location offers the dual benefit of tranquil seclusion and convenient access, being close to major travel routes and local attractions. The on-site pub enhances the stay experience by serving quality food and drinks in a cozy setting, complete with family-friendly amenities and dog-friendly policies, making it a fantastic choice for those traveling with pets.
Guests consistently praise the spacious and immaculately clean rooms, accentuated by stylish decor and modern layouts. The accommodations offer comfort and convenience with features like tea and coffee facilities, small kitchenettes and even stable door entrances. Visitors particularly enjoy the restful atmosphere afforded by the hotel's quiet setting and scenic views, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. The ample parking facilities add to the convenience, ensuring a hassle-free experience for travelers.
Dining at the hotel generally receives commendations for the quality and taste of the food, especially the dinner options. The on-site pub and restaurant provide a welcoming atmosphere with a varied menu and reasonable prices and the addition of live music further enriches the experience. However, some guests noted inconsistency in service times and occasional early kitchen closures.
The breakfast service elicits mixed reviews; while the quality and presentation of the meals are praised, the inconsistency in availability has left some guests disappointed. Ensuring a more reliable breakfast service could significantly enhance guest satisfaction.
The hotel's staff earn high marks for their friendliness, helpfulness and overall excellent service.
