Provo River Inn receives mixed reviews for its three-star rating, facilities and services. Despite being advertised as a three-star hotel, many guests feel it falls short of this classification. The hotel is described as older and showing signs of wear with dated paint colors, mismatched drapery and overall dated décor. The cleanliness of the facilities and rooms, however, is consistently praised with reports of clean and comfortable environments.
Some disappointments include misleading presentation on the website, which suggests a much newer and nicer hotel than what guests find upon arrival. Additionally, the breakfast offering is minimal and not as advertised, consisting of a muffin, power bar, yogurt and a juice box. Guests have also reported needing to ask for basic amenities such as towels and toilet paper.
Despite these drawbacks, the staff receives positive comments for their helpfulness and the location is regarded as safe. Although the property is a bit confusing to locate and somewhat run down, the clean environment and friendly staff add a positive touch to the overall experience. However, given the dated facilities and services, the hotel's three-star rating and associated pricing may seem unjustified to some visitors.

Ramada by Wyndham Provo offers a reasonably priced stay with rates reflecting its three-star designation. Guests acknowledge friendly staff, though they appear overworked and service can vary. While the accommodations are adequate for a week-long visit, certain amenities like working outlets in rooms may require attention. Some reviews suggest that the establishment falls short of a true three-star experience.
The hotel itself is noted to be in need of renovation with dated decor and signs of wear such as cracked furniture and stains. Despite these drawbacks, the breakfast quality has received positive remarks, suggesting an improved dining experience compared to other aspects of the stay. Overall, Ramada by Wyndham Provo provides a fair balance of cost and service, though updates to the facilities could enhance the guest experience.
