While some guests did not feel that it deserved a 5-star rating due to overpricing, lack of breakfast and outdated furniture, others found it to be exceptional and magnifique. The staff was not always up to par and the hotel is in serious need of some maintenance, but overall it was a pleasant and superb stay. However, it cannot compare to other Radisson Blu hotels and some guests did not feel it deserved its name. Despite this, it remains a popular option for those traveling to Dakar.
