Pousada Pedra Azul enjoys a remarkable setting amidst lush greenery, offering breathtaking views of the iconic Pedra Azul and providing a picturesque and serene backdrop for a peaceful stay. The prime location near the entrance of Pedra Azul Park and the Lagarto Route makes it accessible and ideal for nature enthusiasts.
Guests frequently praise the beauty of the gardens and the immaculate, well-organized rooms. The breakfast buffet is highlighted for its excellence and variety, featuring an impressive assortment of breads, cakes, fruits and homemade products served in a charming setting. The on-site restaurant receives high marks for its delicious food, cozy atmosphere and quality service, despite occasional concerns about cost and menu variety.
The spacious and comfortable rooms, many with stunning views of Blue Rock and the beautifully maintained garden, contribute to a cozy and tranquil lodging experience. While some note issues with noise, décor modernization and occasional cleanliness concerns, the overall environment is inviting and pleasant, bolstered by very comfortable beds and high-quality linens.
Cleanliness is consistently noted as exceptional throughout the property, from the rooms to the common areas and the staff are praised for their friendliness, kindness and resourcefulness. This positive staff interaction significantly enhances the guest experience.
The outdoor pool, though offering stunning views and a spacious area for relaxation, could benefit from better maintenance and a heating system due to the local climate. Nevertheless, the overall charm of the well-kept outdoor spaces, including a picturesque lake and dining areas, adds to the enjoyment of a stay at Pousada Pedra Azul.
Overall, Pousada Pedra Azul stands out as a haven of natural beauty and tranquility with exceptional breakfast offerings, attentive staff and comfortable accommodations, making it a noteworthy choice for travelers seeking a relaxing and picturesque retreat.
