Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Comfort Inn Arundel is highly appreciated for its advantageous location, especially for travelers with cars. It is conveniently situated near major roads, offering easy access to local attractions such as Arundel town and Castle. The surroundings are quiet with plenty of free parking, although the lack of clear walkable routes from the nearby train station may pose a challenge for those without a vehicle.
Guests frequently praise the breakfast for its variety and quality, describing it as a great start to the day with plentiful options for both cooked and continental choices. Despite a few criticisms about occasional cold items and basic offerings, the overall sentiment about breakfast is positive.
While the hotel lacks an evening restaurant and room service, the nearby options such as a Beefeater and McDonald's offer alternative dining choices. The bar provides a social space, though it could benefit from a more inviting atmosphere. For a more enjoyable dining experience, guests often venture into Arundel’s various pubs.
The rooms are generally well-received, noted for their cleanliness, spaciousness and comfort. Some minor wear and tear are observed, but the overall stay is pleasant. The cleanliness across the hotel is mostly praised, though a few reviews point out areas that could use modernization and more thorough cleaning.
A standout feature of Comfort Inn Arundel is its exceptional staff. Guests frequently comment on the friendly, accommodating and professional nature of the team, contributing significantly to a positive experience. The attentive service and helpful information about the local area enhance guests' stays.
Free WiFi is available and generally works well, despite some occasional issues with connectivity. Parking is abundant and convenient with generally positive feedback from guests.
The hotel is deemed family-friendly with spacious accommodations and thoughtful amenities catering to the needs of families traveling with children. The convenient location for exploring nearby attractions and amenities further supports its appeal for family vacations.
Beds receive mixed but mostly favorable reviews. Many find them comfortable, although some guests mention issues with older or less comfortable options and pillows needing improvement.
Overall, Comfort Inn Arundel offers a standard three-star experience. It is well-managed, providing clean, functional rooms, friendly staff and a good location, aligning with expectations for a budget hotel. It’s ideal for business travelers due to its dedicated workspaces and reliable WiFi. While there are areas for improvement, particularly in evening dining options and room updates, the hotel remains a practical and pleasing choice for travelers exploring the region.
