Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The Mour Hotel generally receives favorable reviews, especially for its strategic location. Conveniently close to the M1 motorway junction, it offers easy access for both business and leisure travelers. The serene, tree-surrounded setting near Nottingham allows for a peaceful stay, despite proximity to major routes. Guests appreciate modern amenities like Tesla superchargers and ample parking facilities, along with a stylish lobby.
Breakfast experiences at the hotel vary widely. Many guests enjoy the delicious buffet options and room service breakfast, though some find the offerings limited and overpriced, noting issues with quality and service. Dinner reviews are similarly mixed with some guests praising the stylish presentation and tasty meals, while others find the menu overpriced and the service slow.
The rooms are well-received for their spacious, modern and clean atmosphere, featuring stylish decor and comfortable beds. However, concerns about worn carpets, dim lighting and occasional cleanliness issues like dusty areas and moldy shower tiles have been noted. Consistently, guests find the beds' firmness a point of contention with many describing them as uncomfortably hard.
Cleanliness across the hotel presents a mixed picture. While many guests praise the clean rooms and tidy presentation, recurring issues such as worn carpets and dusty areas detract from the overall experience. Nevertheless, the friendly and efficient staff contribute positively, though isolated instances of unprofessional behavior have been reported.
The hotel's free wifi receives mixed reviews with some guests experiencing a reliable connection and others facing frequent drops and slow speeds. The gym's outdated and faulty equipment is a significant disappointment, while the abundant and convenient parking is a strong positive.
Positioned as a four-star hotel, the Mour Hotel receives praise for its modern, clean atmosphere and reasonable prices, despite some guests feeling it doesn't fully meet four-star standards. It is favored by business travelers for its strategic location and good amenities, though some find it somewhat remote.
Lastly, the hotel is dog-friendly, allowing pets in various areas, though some guests find the additional cost for pets a bit high. Overall, the Mour Hotel presents a strong option for those seeking modern accommodations with good value catering to both business and leisure needs.
