Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Days Inn by Wyndham Lawton is favorably located close to Fort Sill, offering both convenience and tranquility. Guests appreciate its proximity to local attractions, restaurants, and easy freeway access, while still providing a calm and quiet environment. The hotel’s central location is further enhanced by its placement across from a park, adding to its appeal for leisure seekers.
While the breakfast offerings leave much to be desired, with limited options like coffee and granola bars that fall short of expectations, the generally friendly staff is a redeeming quality. The staff is frequently praised for their helpfulness and courteous demeanor, particularly the morning team and standout employee Patty at the front desk.
The rooms offer spaciousness and functional amenities such as good beds and effective heating. However, some guests have noted issues with cleanliness and maintenance, mentioning dirty towels, musty odors, and occasional mechanical problems. The repeated cleanliness concerns, including stained sheets and insects, have negatively affected some guests' experiences.
The pool is highlighted as a major positive, providing a clean and family-friendly space for relaxation. Despite occasional maintenance and access issues, it remains a favored feature among guests. The hotel bed experiences vary, with some beds being comfortable and others requiring improvement due to hard mattresses or worn-out pillows.
Overall, Days Inn by Wyndham Lawton is well-regarded for its convenient and peaceful location, amiable staff, and engaging pool area, but could benefit from addressing the cleanliness and maintenance shortcomings in the rooms and improving their breakfast offerings.
