Hotel ten Cate Emmen combines an enviable location, a strong culinary presence and excellent service to create a memorable stay for guests. Ideally situated close to Wildlands Zoo and the city center of Emmen, the hotel offers easy access to local attractions and amenities, making it a convenient choice for both families and business travelers. Ample parking and proximity to a bus stop further enhance its accessibility.
Guests repeatedly commend the breakfast experience, describing it as delicious and extensive with a variety of options and a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant further elevates the culinary offerings with high-quality and well-prepared dishes, though prices are on the higher side, the overall dining experience justifies the cost.
Accommodation at Hotel ten Cate Emmen is largely praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness and modern amenities. Rooms are generally comfortable with essential facilities, though some guests noted areas needing renovation and instances of poor ventilation and noise. Family rooms are spacious and well-suited for larger groups, complemented by a game room that adds to the charm for families.
The hotel's exceptional cleanliness is a recurring highlight with rooms and common areas meticulously maintained, ensuring a fresh and welcoming environment. Staff at Hotel ten Cate Emmen consistently receive high marks for their friendliness and attentiveness, contributing significantly to the positive guest experiences.
While the WiFi service receives mixed reviews with some connectivity issues in the rooms, the public areas offer reliable internet, suitable even for online gaming. The hotel also provides a modern gym, catering to guests wishing to maintain their workout routines during their stay.
Families particularly appreciate the thoughtful amenities, such as family rooms with fun bunk beds and the hotel's proximity to Wildlands Zoo, making it an excellent choice for family outings.
