Roffey Park Venue is a hidden gem that provides guests with a peaceful retreat in the middle of a forest with excellent facilities and friendly staff. While the institute's location is remote, it's readily accessible and comes with good parking facilities. Guests praised the quality of breakfast and the selection of dishes available, as well as the large, comfortable and well-maintained rooms. The hotel is also clean, quiet and welcoming with excellent leisure facilities. Staff is a highlight of Roffey Park Venue, described as extremely helpful, efficient and charming. The hotel is perfect for business trips and conventions with guests highlighting the value they get for their money. However, some guests find the location far away from reception and the rooms may reflect training resources more than a luxury hotel. Additionally, noise from neighboring rooms can be a potential problem for light sleepers. Overall, Roffey Park Venue is an excellent choice for those seeking peace and quiet with great facilities, friendly staff and a good value for money accommodation.

Barrington Lodge is favored for its strategic location, providing a peaceful retreat in a quiet cul-de-sac while remaining conveniently close to Crawley town center and Gatwick Airport. This makes it ideal for travelers seeking a serene environment with good access to local amenities, sports venues, and the airport. The tranquil setting is complemented by the lodge's friendly and attentive staff, who are consistently praised for their helpfulness and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Guests appreciate the clean and comfortable accommodations at Barrington Lodge, with many highlighting the spacious rooms, fresh linens, and exceptionally comfortable beds. Essential amenities, including tea and coffee facilities, enhance the overall comfort, making it a budget-friendly option despite some elements being slightly outdated. The lodge offers a complimentary WiFi service that is generally satisfactory, although some guests encounter stability issues.
However, Barrington Lodge lacks on-site dining facilities, including breakfast and dinner options, necessitating guests to visit nearby eateries. Though this might be seen as a drawback, guests acknowledge the cost-effectiveness of the lodge's rates, which reflect the absence of dining services. Cleanliness is largely appreciated, although some areas may benefit from more thorough cleaning, particularly in communal spaces.
