Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The Broughton Hotel by Greene King Inns is generally well-regarded for its excellent location, dining options and accommodating staff. Situated near the M1 motorway and in close proximity to Milton Keynes, the hotel offers convenient access to essential amenities, shopping centers and local attractions while being in a peaceful residential area with ample parking.
The breakfast experience is frequently praised for its quality, variety and freshly cooked offerings. Guests appreciate the full English breakfast, the wide selection of options and the friendly, helpful staff contributing to a pleasant dining experience. Dinner at the hotel's attached Hungry Horse pub and restaurant is also highly praised for its delicious, hearty meals at reasonable prices, quick service and accommodating staff.
The rooms are noted for their cleanliness, spaciousness and comfortable beds. Many guests emphasize the tidy and spotless condition of the rooms upon arrival. However, there are some mentions of outdated decor, minor maintenance issues and the need for bathroom facilities to be refurbished. Despite this, the comfortable, large beds and the quiet atmosphere contribute positively to the overall comfort of the stay.
Cleanliness across the hotel is generally well-regarded, particularly in the rooms with some areas requiring attention, particularly the bathrooms. The staff receives consistent praise for their friendliness, helpfulness and welcoming nature, creating a warm environment throughout the hotel.
The free WiFi at the hotel receives mixed reviews with some guests experiencing fast and easy connections, while others encounter intermittent and unreliable signals, particularly in the rooms. The parking facilities are well-regarded, offering plenty of free, secure and easily accessible spaces.
The hotel is a great choice for family stays, offering a safe and family-friendly environment with staff catering well to family needs. The beds receive mostly positive feedback for their comfort and size, although some guests note variability in quality.
In summary, The Broughton Hotel by Greene King Inns is a favorable choice for travelers seeking a convenient location, good dining options and a welcoming atmosphere with clean and comfortable accommodations, despite some areas needing improvement.
