Conveniently situated on the outskirts of Albert, the hotel offers tranquility and easy access to nearby historic sites, as well as essential local facilities. It serves as a restful stopover for travelers heading to Normandy or Brittany with ample parking space and a serene countryside setting enhancing the overall experience.
Guests appreciate the modern amenities, welcoming staff and good dining options. The breakfast is well-received for its plentiful and tasty selection with a variety of savory and sweet offerings made from fresh local ingredients. Though some guests desired more options, the overall quality and range of food, combined with the friendly staff, make for a satisfying morning meal. The on-site restaurant, Béluga, is praised for its good quality dishes, particularly the burgers. The menu, though limited, tends to offer something for everyone and the friendly service enhances the dining experience. However, the restaurant's availability can be inconsistent with closures on certain nights without prior notice and some guests noted reliance on prepared meals.
Rooms at the hotel are commended for their cleanliness and comfort with air conditioning, comfortable beds and spacious layouts contributing to a restful stay. While some guests found the rooms a bit small, particularly for three people or those with mobility issues, the overall feedback indicates that the rooms meet expectations. The hotel's decor and bathroom fittings may feel slightly dated to some, but the general cleanliness and comfort are consistently praised.
Cleanliness is a standout feature at ibis Albert Pays de Somme with guests frequently highlighting the well-maintained environments and tidy public areas. This, combined with the friendly and helpful staff, creates a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are consistently applauded for their attentiveness, professionalism and warm hospitality, often going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.
Parking facilities are exceptional, offering free and ample spaces, including provisions for large vehicles and electric charging stations. The security of the parking area with night closures and gated access, ensures vehicle safety.
Beds are generally described as very comfortable with high-quality mattresses contributing to a good night's sleep. Although some guests found the mattresses a bit firm or noted minor sagging, the majority of reviews highlight the positive sleep experience.
Accessibility is good with facilities designed to cater to less able visitors. While some aspects, such as the height of the shower and toilet area, could be improved, the hotel provides a largely positive experience for guests with accessibility needs.
Overall, ibis Albert Pays de Somme is noted for its excellent location, cleanliness, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and convenient parking, making it a highly recommended choice for travelers.
