Some rooms lacked shutters or blackout curtains, allowing heat and light to enter. However, one single room had access to a large rooftop terrace. The main drawback was that some rooms were located at a distance from the main house and guests had to climb many high stairs to reach their rooms. Additionally, some guests found the rooms noisy and the keys had to be returned to the main house during check-out.
