The resort is great for families who enjoyed time with family at the beach, Tiki Bar and closeness to fantastic restaurants in the shopping plaza. The Tiki Bar added to the fun vibe with live music every night and the kids' movie was creative and fun. Although there were not many activities for kids, the grandchildren enjoyed the beach and there were plenty of pool towels for all! The rooms were family style and away from the music, which was nice. However, some guests found the beds uncomfortable and the bathroom was not big enough for four adults in one room. Additionally, some guests reported that their door didn't latch unless pushed or pulled, which was inconvenient at times when carrying beach gear and children. Nevertheless, many guests loved the resort's facilities, such as the pool, restaurant, Tiki Bar and the beach. Lastly, some guests felt unsafe and do not recommend this hotel for families, but those who felt comfortable referred friends and family for a great family trip.

While there were no planned activities for kids, families are sure to have a blast visiting with family from other states and enjoying some rest, pampering and fun with their loved ones. This resort is kid and family friendly and it provided us with a great family vacation experience. If you are planning a trip to Hilton Head with your family, this hotel should be at the top of your list!
