Visitors appreciate the convenient access to various outdoor activities, ample parking options, and the serene environment away from the city's bustle. The hotel serves as a solid base for exploring the Harz and Thuringian Forest, while also maintaining a good price/performance ratio.
The breakfast experience is generally positive, noted for its quality and variety, with praises for the selection of cold cuts and fruits. However, there are occasional critiques about the limited options relative to its price, with some guests preferring a more diverse buffet. The dinner, on the other hand, consistently receives high praise for its delectable cuisine and pleasant ambiance. Guests appreciate the cozy dining atmosphere, enhanced by the option to enjoy meals in a charming beer garden, as well as the friendly and attentive service from the restaurant staff.
Guest reviews of the rooms highlight their cleanliness and spaciousness, with cozy bathrooms featuring appealing fixtures. The staff's attentiveness contributes positively to the room experience, although some reports of dated furnishings and noise issues suggest areas for improvement. In terms of cleanliness, the hotel is generally seen as well-maintained, despite occasional lapses like leftover hair or makeshift repairs.
The staff at the hotel receive consistent accolades for their friendliness and dedication, ensuring guests feel warmly welcomed. While language barriers at reception occasionally pose challenges, the overall team efforts in service make up for these instances.
