Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hôtel Inn Design & Restaurant Bourges is favorably located near major motorways and just outside Bourges city center, offering convenient access to both urban amenities and serene natural surroundings. The hotel is ideal for travelers with pets or those seeking tranquility with nearby nature walks and proximity to historical downtown Bourges. Guests appreciate the nearby shops, restaurants and golf courses and the on-site parking adds practical benefits.
The breakfast experience is widely praised for its variety and value, featuring a generous buffet with fresh pastries, homemade cakes and freshly squeezed orange juice. However, there are occasional inconsistencies in availability or quality. Despite this, the breakfast generally provides a strong start to the day.
The dinner reviews are mixed; many guests highlight tasty, well-prepared meals and good value for money, but others note issues with restaurant availability, limited menu choices and inconsistent food quality. The operational schedule of the restaurant sometimes causes frustration.
Room reviews are also mixed. Positive notes include clean and comfortable accommodations with good bedding and ample amenities. However, several guests report small, outdated rooms with poor lighting, unpleasant odors and maintenance issues such as dirty carpets and mold. Noise levels from thin walls can also be a drawback.
Cleanliness receives varied feedback. Many guests praise the hotel for maintaining clean and neat rooms, but there are reports of specific cleanliness lapses such as stained carpets and lingering odors. While the majority find the hotel clean enough for a comfortable stay, some areas could benefit from better upkeep.
The hotel staff receives high praise for their exceptional friendliness, professionalism and attentiveness. Reception staff are frequently commended for their warmth and helpful nature, significantly contributing to a pleasant guest experience. Despite occasional staffing challenges, the overall sentiment is very positive regarding the service.
Free WiFi receives mixed feedback with many finding it reliable and fast, though some experience connectivity issues. Parking is consistently praised for its accessibility, convenience and ample availability, including secure and electric vehicle charging options.
The hotel is generally suitable for families, offering spacious and connecting rooms, although there are occasional issues with amenities like baby cots. The bedding receives a mixed response; while many find the beds comfortable and of good quality, others report problems with outdated or soft mattresses.
Overall, Hôtel Inn Design & Restaurant Bourges offers a convenient and pleasant stay with friendly staff, good breakfast options and practical amenities, though there are some areas in need of improvement.
