Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hôtel du Golf de l'Ailette, The Originals Relais (Qualys-Hotel) is highly regarded for its picturesque and tranquil lakeside location, offering stunning views and a serene environment perfect for relaxation and nature lovers. The hotel's proximity to historical sites and major routes makes it a convenient base for exploration or as a stopover on longer journeys. Guests consistently praise the friendly and attentive staff, alongside the modern, spacious and exceptionally clean rooms, which frequently feature balconies overlooking the lake.
Breakfast generally receives high marks for its extensive, varied offerings including fresh orange juice and pastries, despite some guests finding it slightly expensive. Dinner experiences are often noted for the excellent quality of cuisine, great views and attentive service; though some feel the cost is high. The hotel's restaurant ambiance and the opportunity to dine on the lake view terrace are particularly appreciated.
The cleanliness of the hotel stands out with guests often noting the spotless condition of rooms and communal areas. Most find the beds extremely comfortable, adding to the restful experience. However, there are minor mentions of dated décor and occasional noise issues.
Families find the hotel accommodating, enjoying spacious family rooms and kid-friendly amenities like playgrounds and pools. The proximity to a golf course also adds appeal for golfing enthusiasts, while safe and ample parking options enhance convenience.
While the Wi-Fi is generally good, some guests find it spotty or slow and the requirement to register for access could be improved. The pool is praised for its size, cleanliness and picturesque views, despite some seasonal closures and an additional charge for the jacuzzi.
Although the hotel meets many expectations for a four-star rating with its friendly service, beautiful setting and good facilities, there are some reviews suggesting that the infrastructure needs updating to fully justify the rating. Business travelers also find it a favorable destination, contributing to the positive overall experience at Hôtel du Golf de l'Ailette.
