Ibis London Thurrock M25 offers mixed experiences for families traveling with children. The hotel's location is ideal for those visiting friends and family in the area and it is considered family-friendly. Staff members are praised for their professionalism and approachability, contributing positively to the family stay. While the hotel offers family rooms and suitable accommodations for family trips, some guests found the rooms to be small and not particularly comfortable for families. Though clean, some areas, like the carpet, were noted to need attention. Despite these drawbacks, kids enjoyed their stay and the availability of larger rooms when needed was a plus. The Campanile Hotel in Basildon, East of London, appears to be a mixed bag when it comes to activities and facilities for kids. On the positive side, the hotel is family-friendly, offering easy check-in and welcoming staff who go out of their way to make stays enjoyable. The rooms are clean, well-maintained and some are connecting, which is ideal for family get-togethers. The presence of a bar and food facilities adds convenience for families staying on the premises.
However, there are some concerns about the environment being more suited to truckers than families. Issues like noise complaints and kids running around until early hours of the morning may detract from the overall experience, particularly for families with younger children. Furthermore, a reported experience of a 6-year-old being disappointed may indicate a lack of kid-specific amenities or activities. Overall, while the hotel serves its purpose for short stays and family events in the area, it may fall short in providing an optimal environment for young children.
