Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
ibis budget Rennes Route de Saint Malo is highly regarded for its strategic and convenient location. Situated near key destinations like Rennes, Mont Saint Michel and Saint Malo, it is an ideal base for exploring the region. Its proximity to major roads and the highway provides easy access for travelers and business guests with plenty of parking spaces and close amenities like shopping centers and restaurants further enhancing its practicality. However, the location might be challenging without a car due to its position in a commercial area.
Breakfast here is generally well-received with guests noting its generous variety of sweet and savory options, fresh bread and pastries, providing excellent value for money. Despite occasional criticisms about limited choices and issues with the breakfast area's organization, the overall sentiment suggests a satisfactory and substantial start to the day.
The rooms at ibis budget Rennes Route de Saint Malo are praised for their cleanliness and functionality, suited for short stays. Though small, they are well-equipped with comfortable beds and sufficient amenities. Some criticisms include unpleasant odors, outdated equipment and minor maintenance issues, but the rooms are typically regarded as good value.
Cleanliness is usually commendable with many guests reporting a neat and comfortable environment. Nonetheless, some reviews point out cleaning inconsistencies with occasional reports of mold, dust and other cleanliness oversights.
The hotel's staff receive high praise for their exceptional service. They are described as friendly, welcoming and professional, providing attentive assistance round the clock and contributing significantly to a positive guest experience.
Wi-Fi at the hotel is mostly reliable, offering a strong, fast connection throughout the premises, though there are intermittent connectivity issues reported.
Parking facilities at the hotel are excellent, featuring ample, secure and free parking that provides peace of mind for guests with vehicles. The calm and quiet nature of the parking area adds to a stress-free experience.
The hotel offers a mixed experience for families. While it provides cots at no extra charge and family rooms accommodating up to three people, some guests feel the setup isn't always suited for family needs, mentioning issues like lack of connecting rooms and soundproofing.
Beds receive mixed reviews; many guests find them comfortable and of good quality, though some mention firmness and pillow comfort as drawbacks.
Accessibility is noted as generally good, particularly for those traveling by car. The hotel is easily navigable and provides convenient facilities for guests with disabilities, although the lack of an elevator and public transport accessibility are points to consider.
Finally, the hotel is notably dog-friendly with well-maintained areas for pets and a welcoming attitude towards dogs, despite occasional disturbances noted by some guests.
