While some guests find the breakfast offerings simple, the majority praise the variety and attentive service. Coupled with the hotel’s prime location and functional in-room amenities like TV, air conditioning and minibars, breakfast enhances the overall convenience and enjoyment of the stay.
Opinions on the rooms are mixed. Guests note the rooms, although clean and equipped with necessary amenities, are compact with limited space for luggage and small bathrooms. Noise, inadequate curtain coverage, moldy walls and poor mattress quality were recurrent issues. Some found the comfort level compromised, likening the establishment to a motel and suggesting it is not ideal for families.
On the cleanliness front, Hotel Positano excels. The rooms and bathrooms are consistently described as very clean, adding to the tranquil and enjoyable environment. Despite a few isolated remarks about initial room hygiene and linen quality, most guests commend the hotel's cleanliness and the positive reception from the staff.

Both the reception and cleaning staff are highlighted for their attentiveness and helpfulness, significantly enhancing the guest experience. The dedicated personnel render excellent service, fostering an attractive and welcoming atmosphere.
However, bed quality is an area where Hotel Positano falls short. Many guests describe the beds as hard and the pillows uncomfortable with reports of small bed sizes and occasional tears.
