Dependences - San Simon Resort boasts an idyllic seaside location, frequently praised by guests for its proximity to the charming beach, well-maintained greenery and beautiful gardens. The tranquil environment, combined with modern amenities, creates a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation and peaceful walks. The resort's prime location also serves as an excellent base for exploring the Slovenian coast with convenient access to Izola within a 10 to 20-minute walk and easy trips to Croatia and Italy. The close proximity to restaurants, bars and supermarkets, coupled with free parking, enhances the overall convenience of the stay.
Guests frequently highlight the excellent breakfast, which offers a rich selection of varied and fresh food, adding to a pleasant start to the day. Though some elements like pastries and coffee could be improved, the overall breakfast experience is well-received. Similarly, the dinner options receive positive feedback for their diversity and quality, despite some occasional monotony and temperature issues during buffet service.
The resort's rooms are modern, comfortable and clean with recent renovations bringing in cozy and well-furnished interiors. While there are occasional maintenance issues and some small bathroom sizes, the spaciousness, air conditioning and amenities such as mini-fridges and large balconies with picturesque views contribute to a comfortable stay. Guests also highlight the unbeatable cleanliness with rooms and common areas consistently kept tidy and well-organized.
Staff at Dependences - San Simon Resort are exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from reception to housekeeping. The positive interactions with staff significantly enhance guests' experiences.

The spa is a standout feature with various saunas, a modern indoor pool and a jacuzzi, all noted for their cleanliness and quality. Despite occasional closures due to COVID-19 restrictions, the spa remains a well-regarded facility.
The indoor swimming pool is another highlight, appreciated for its pleasant atmosphere and cleanliness, although improvements in seating capacity and operational hours are suggested. The nearby beach is conveniently accessible and well-maintained, offering a beautiful seaside experience with clean waters and ample amenities. Despite some additional costs for sun loungers and occasional overcrowding, the beach, complete with a lively bar and children's playground, remains a vibrant spot for families.
