Hotel Panský dům enjoys a prime location, highly praised by guests for its centrality in town and proximity to essential services, shops, restaurants and outdoor activities. Its easy access to the town's amenities, including a swimming pool and train stations, along with ample and affordable parking options, add to its convenience as a base for exploring Kostelec and nearby attractions such as Sky Bridge 721.
The hotel offers a highly commendable breakfast experience with a rich and diverse buffet featuring fresh fruit, freshly ground coffee and various options to cater to different palates. Guests appreciate the quality, taste and value of the breakfast, which can be enjoyed on the terrace with items consistently replenished and available even before the official start time.
The dinner experience at Hotel Panský dům also receives high marks, particularly for its domestic-focused cuisine. Guests find the meals to be delicious and varied with generous portions providing good value. Standout dishes include the grilled pork neck with honey onions and the beer selection, particularly the 16-degree Primátor beer, garners special praise. The staff's pleasant demeanor enhances the dining experience, despite a few mentions of average-quality dishes.
When it comes to rooms, guest feedback is mixed. Many appreciate the cleanliness, coziness and practical furnishings of the rooms, especially the spacious triple rooms. However, some guests note issues such as the lack of air conditioning, discrepancies between the actual rooms and website photos and noise from the main road. Despite these concerns, the overall sentiment remains positive regarding room cleanliness and a generally quiet atmosphere.
Cleanliness is a strong point for Hotel Panský dům with guests consistently noting the tidy and well-maintained rooms and common areas. Although some suggest improvements in thoroughness, the general consensus is that the hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness, contributing to a cozy environment.
The staff at Hotel Panský dům are frequently highlighted for their friendliness and professionalism. Guests appreciate the attentive and accommodating nature of the personnel, including the manager and owner. The positive interactions with staff members like waitresses and chefs significantly enhance the guest experience.
The hotel's spa offers a unique and well-regarded experience with modern amenities such as a jacuzzi and massage rooms. A standout feature is the beer baths, which add a local cultural touch to the relaxation offerings. The spa's competitive pricing and the charming historical interior of the on-site restaurant contribute to a memorable stay.
Parking at Hotel Panský dům is convenient with private options available behind the hotel and in the courtyard. While there are occasional mentions of chaos and overcrowding, most guests find the parking facilities satisfactory, highlighting the availability of plenty of spaces and easy access.
The beds at Hotel Panský dům receive mixed reviews. While many guests find the mattresses comfortable and firm, others consider them too hard and narrow with mentions of squeaky and old spring mattresses on folding beds. Nonetheless, the overall furnishings and cleanliness of the rooms receive positive feedback.
