Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel Zlatni Lav in Martinscica is highly regarded for its superb location, providing guests with picturesque views of the sea and bay. Nestled in a tranquil village, it offers convenient access to a small beach, the waterfront, and the old town, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. The hotel's peaceful setting ensures a tranquil stay, despite its proximity to many attractions. Large parking facilities and a nearby restaurant further enhance the convenience for visitors.
Guests appreciate the breakfast, especially when enjoyed on the panoramic terrace. The buffet-style breakfast is fresh and of good quality, generally satisfying those looking for a hearty start to the day. However, some visitors wish for a bit more variety in terms of dietary options, such as sweets. Although the restaurant for lunch and dinner is closed, the hotel's location allows easy access to alternative dining options at the harbor.
The rooms at Hotel Zlatni Lav are spacious and comfortable, often featuring balconies with charming views. Cleanliness is a strong point, with rooms consistently well-maintained. The necessary amenities such as air conditioning, a mini-bar, TV, and Wi-Fi are all available, although internet connectivity can be inconsistent outside the reception area. The staff is frequently praised for their friendliness and attentiveness, contributing positively to the guest experience. Their multilingual skills, especially proficiency in German, enhance the stay for international guests.
While some aspects, like bed comfort and Wi-Fi reliability, could use improvement, guests generally find the rooms to be well-equipped and conducive to relaxation. The hotel staff plays a significant role in enhancing the experience, offering helpful recommendations and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Despite some debates about the hotel's four-star rating and occasional maintenance issues, many guests find their stay pleasant, particularly due to the staff's dedication and the hotel's splendid location.
