The proximity to various attractions and essential amenities makes it a practical choice for guests.
The breakfast offerings at The Fazeley Inn are highlighted as a major positive aspect. Guests appreciate the well-cooked, tasty and affordable breakfast options with special mention of the extended service hours and the friendliness of the staff. Variety, including vegetarian choices, adds to the value, though a few isolated issues like occasional cold food or delays due to staffing were noted.
Dinner experiences are mixed but often praised for quality and taste when available with dishes like chicken tikka curry and Sunday lunch receiving positive feedback. The inn's bar environment adds a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. However, the unavailability of the chef at times led to dissatisfaction, as guests faced canceled meals and had to seek alternatives.
Rooms at The Fazeley Inn draw varied reviews. Positive comments note the spaciousness, comfort and cleanliness of certain rooms with comfortable beds and hot showers frequently mentioned. On the downside, guests reported issues including worn-out carpets, broken fixtures, unpleasant odors and a lack of basic amenities like tea and coffee-making facilities. Noise from adjacent bars or streets was also a concern for some.
Cleanliness feedback is mixed with many rooms praised for their tidiness and fresh linens, while communal areas often received negative remarks. Issues such as mold, stained carpets and broken fixtures were cited, though the inn’s overall cleanliness benefited from recent renovations in some areas.
Guests consistently commend the staff at The Fazeley Inn for their friendliness, helpfulness and welcoming demeanor. Staff members are recognized for going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, contributing significantly to an enjoyable experience at the inn.
WiFi connectivity experiences are inconsistent. While some guests found the signal strong and stable, others faced issues with weak or intermittent connections. This inconsistency detracts slightly from the overall experience, though guests did appreciate the availability of complimentary tea and coffee.
Bed comfort and quality receive mixed reviews. Many guests found the beds to be comfortable and conducive to a good night's sleep, appreciating the cleanliness of the bedding. However, some guests experienced discomfort due to thin pillows and worn-out mattresses with a few reports of stained bed sheets.
