Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Comfort Inn & Suites Tigard near Washington Square receives generally positive reviews, particularly praised for its strategic location and breakfast offerings. Guests appreciate the hotel's prime positioning near major freeways, allowing for convenient access to various attractions, shops, and restaurants. The peaceful ambiance of the area, combined with a secure neighborhood, enhances its appeal for both leisure and business travelers.
The breakfast is a notable highlight, with guests enjoying the full continental spread and a wide variety of options ensuring satisfaction for all. The cleanliness of the breakfast area and the quality of the coffee are frequently commended, contributing positively to guests' overall experiences.
The rooms receive mixed feedback. On the positive side, they are often described as clean with comfortable beds, contributing to a restful sleep, and many guests highlight the spaciousness, particularly favoring rooms with King-sized beds. However, consistency in cleanliness and room conditions remains an area for improvement, with some guests noting issues like unpleasant odors and inadequate room service.
Staff interactions are generally seen in a positive light, with guests frequently noting the team's friendliness and helpfulness. Despite some isolated less-than-ideal encounters, particularly during check-in, most guests experience excellent service, especially praising the attentiveness of the night shift and concierge staff.
Comfortable bedding is a consistent positive theme, with most guests finding the beds and pillows contributing to a good night's sleep, though a few found the beds too firm for their liking.
Overall, while there are areas needing attention, particularly regarding cleanliness, the hotel's excellent location, welcoming staff, and consistently praised breakfast offer a largely positive experience for guests.
