Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Located conveniently close to UMass and a variety of dining options, Red Roof Inn PLUS+ South Deerfield - Amherst boasts an accessible and practical location with easy access to highways and nearby attractions such as Yankee Candles. The hotel is appreciated for being quiet, providing ample parking and accommodating larger groups and pet owners.
While the breakfast service leaves much to be desired with only coffee provided and no substantial breakfast options, the rooms receive consistent praise for their cleanliness and spaciousness. Guests often mention comfortable beds, neat and modern furniture and renovated bathrooms, despite occasional issues with daily cleaning and outdated furniture. The hotel maintains an overall clean and well-kept appearance, especially in the rooms and gardens, even though common areas and bathrooms sometimes need better upkeep.
The staff are generally praised for their friendliness and professionalism with specific commendations for their helpfulness and proactive problem-solving. Although there have been occasional instances of unsatisfactory encounters, the overall sentiment towards the staff is positive, emphasizing their role in enhancing the guest experience.
Parking at the hotel is noted to be hassle-free with ample, well-lit spaces close to the entrances, making it easy and convenient for guests. Beds receive mixed reviews; while many guests find them comfortable and well-equipped with good-quality sheets and pillows, others feel there is variability in bed quality and comfort across different rooms.
Overall, Red Roof Inn PLUS+ South Deerfield - Amherst offers a satisfactory stay with a mix of positive and some less favorable reviews, aligning with its mid-tier, three-star rating. The convenience, cleanliness and friendly staff are highlighted as key positives, though there is room for improvement in areas such as breakfast offerings and consistent room maintenance.
