Habitaciones con encanto - Cal Alejandro is nestled in an extraordinary location within a charming historic village, offering tranquil surroundings and stunning views, especially of the nearby Castle of Montsonís. Guests consistently praise the serene ambiance and the hotel's ideal setting for a peaceful getaway. The friendly and attentive staff significantly enhance the guest experience, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a charming stay.
Breakfast receives mixed reviews; while some find it excellent and served with attentive hospitality, others note a lack of variety and freshness, with predominantly sweet options. Despite this, the quality of service often elevates the meal experience. The dining experience, particularly dinner, is highly regarded for its delicious regional dishes and romantic mountain-carved restaurant setting. The use of local products and thoughtful service contribute to memorable culinary experiences, though minor service efficiency and language barrier issues are occasionally mentioned.
Guests appreciate the cleanliness and charm of the rooms, with an acknowledgment of the effort to maintain a cozy environment. However, some areas require improvement, such as outdated amenities and inadequate room facilities, particularly in terms of air conditioning and insulation. Noise can be an issue due to thin walls, and some guests highlighted the need for better bedding and room maintenance.
Despite some concerns with room temperature and bedding, the overall appeal is enhanced by the exceptional staff, who are highlighted for their friendliness and dedication. Their commitment to guest satisfaction is a defining feature, making Cal Alejandro a memorable and pleasant stay for those seeking a quiet escape in a picturesque rural setting.
