Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
AlpenParks Hotel & Apartment Carpe Solem Mariapfarr is highly praised for its exceptional location in the tranquil and charming village of Mariapfarr. Guests appreciate the convenience of being close to local restaurants, shops and a supermarket, as well as the easy access to picturesque downtown areas and stunning views from the apartments. The hotel is ideally positioned for both winter and summer activities with proximity to ski resorts like Obertauern and Katschberg, ski bus stops and numerous hiking and biking trails. This convenient location, combined with a peaceful village ambiance, makes it a perfect destination for families and travelers seeking both adventure and relaxation.
The hotel's accommodations receive consistent acclaim for their modern, spacious and meticulously clean interiors. Guests are impressed with the high-quality furnishings, well-equipped kitchens and large dining areas, which are perfect for group gatherings. The fantastic views and large balconies add extra enjoyment to the stay. The direct access from the hotel's parking deck enhances convenience and the stylish, cozy and contemporary designs of the apartments contribute to a restful and aesthetically pleasing experience.
Cleanliness is a standout feature at AlpenParks Hotel & Apartment Carpe Solem Mariapfarr. The pristine condition of the apartments and the well-maintained resort itself offer a fresh and inviting environment. Despite a few minor issues with apartment amenities, the overall sentiment remains extremely positive regarding the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodations.
The exceptional service provided by the staff is another highlight with guests consistently praising their friendliness, helpfulness and attentiveness. The team, including an English-speaking gentleman and a professional Hungarian receptionist named András, is celebrated for their courteous and polite demeanor. Front desk employees offer excellent local suggestions and maintain good communication with guests, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere and a wonderful overall experience.
The hotel's pool and wellness facilities are equally commendable. Guests enjoy the direct access to an adjacent outdoor pool with fantastic slides for children and well-maintained sauna facilities. The wellness area, complete with sauna rituals, adds a touch of luxury to the stay. Although some guests wished for a small indoor pool for children during colder days, the overall response to the wellness and pool offerings is exceedingly positive.
Parking options at the hotel include an underground garage accessible with a room card, though reservations are recommended due to limited spaces. Guests have noted some confusion with the parking situation and the potential for noise from the parking lot, but the availability of electric car chargers and the convenience of on-site parking are appreciated.
The beds in the accommodations are generally well-reviewed for their coziness and comfort with supportive mattresses ensuring restful sleep. However, feedback on the pull-out couches has been mixed with some guests finding them less comfortable. Additionally, the temperature of the bedding received some criticism, suggesting that summer duvets might enhance comfort.
In conclusion, AlpenParks Hotel & Apartment Carpe Solem Mariapfarr excels in delivering a superb guest experience with its prime location, modern and clean accommodations, exceptional staff, outstanding pool and wellness facilities and overall comfort. While there are minor areas for improvement, the hotel remains a highly recommended destination for those seeking both adventure and tranquility.
