Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Best Western Plus Hollywood/Aventura stands out for its strategic location, nestled close to I-95, providing easy access to North Miami and nearby attractions like Hallandale Beach and Hollywood Beach. The hotel's proximity to restaurants, shopping centers, such as Aventura Mall and Sawgrass Mills Outlet and essential amenities adds to its convenience for both leisure and business travelers.
The breakfast service receives mixed feedback with many appreciating the friendly and attentive staff and a variety of delicious options. However, some guests noted the use of disposable cutlery and occasional lack of variety as areas for improvement. Nonetheless, the fulfilling nature of the breakfast generally satisfies guests.
Rooms at Best Western Plus Hollywood/Aventura present a blend of positives and negatives. Many guests find them clean, comfortable and spacious with modern amenities like mini-fridges and coffee makers enhancing their stay. However, recurring issues such as musty odors, humidity and cleanliness concerns detract from the experience. Despite these, elements of comfort and convenience are appreciated by many.
Cleanliness of the hotel receives varied reviews. While several guests laud the clean rooms and well-maintained environments, others highlight inconsistencies, pointing out issues such as mold, musty smells and insufficient housekeeping. Common areas like hallways and elevators also receive criticism for cleanliness.
The staff at the hotel is frequently praised for their friendliness, professionalism and exceptional customer service. Guests commend individuals like Diego, Maribel and Eduardo for their dedication, enhancing the overall guest experience despite occasional negative feedback regarding the night staff.
Free Wi-Fi is appreciated, but its reliability remains a concern for many guests. While some experience good connection speeds, others report unstable and intermittent access, particularly on higher floors, requiring improvement.
The fitness center garners positive feedback for its cleanliness and modern equipment, despite being small. It is rarely crowded, offering a peaceful workout environment, though guests suggested minor updates like installing a TV.
The pool area is highly praised for its well-maintained, spacious and cozy atmosphere. The clean environment and amenities like a waterfall add to its charm, though occasional minor issues like limited seating and temperature control are noted.
The hotel is family-friendly with amenities catering well to children, including a popular pool and a convenient breakfast area. Families appreciate the location's accessibility to local attractions and the accommodating staff, contributing to a pleasant stay.
Beds are generally described as comfortable with many guests noting their quality balance. However, occasional complaints about bed cleanliness, worn-out mattresses and bedbugs are mentioned, though these are less frequent.
As a three-star hotel, Best Western Plus Hollywood/Aventura offers satisfactory and commendable services, aligning with expectations for its rating. Clean facilities, despite being somewhat old, convenient location and budget-friendly value with free parking and breakfast make it a functional choice for short stays. Business travelers find it suitable with amenities like business centers and meeting rooms, although occasional issues with customer service unprofessionalism are reported.
In summary, Best Western Plus Hollywood/Aventura with its strategic location, friendly staff and functional amenities, offers a pleasant stay despite areas requiring improvement. It serves as a solid option for travelers prioritizing convenience, comfort and budget-friendly value.
