Maya Apartment Bay View Villas is well-loved for its strategic location, offering easy access to shops, restaurants and essential amenities like Mr DIY, 7-Eleven and Speedmart. Its proximity to the beach and town center makes it a convenient and appealing choice for families and tourists, providing scenic coastal views and a calm atmosphere despite its slightly hidden location.
The apartments feature spacious and comfortable rooms, often equipped with large balconies showcasing beautiful ocean views. While the rooms are generally clean and well-furnished with basic facilities such as stoves and refrigerators, there are occasional maintenance issues, including aging bedding and sporadic functionality problems. The serene environment and clean swimming pool significantly enhance the overall stay, making up for minor cleanliness issues reported in some areas.
Guests frequently praise the staff for their friendliness and attentiveness with notable mentions of prompt security responses and personalized service from individuals like Mr. Gopal from Nepal. Despite occasional delays in check-in processes and minor communication challenges, the staff is considered helpful and contributes positively to the guest experience.
The villas' beachside location is a highlight, offering stunning sea views, especially from higher floors and enhancing the attractiveness of the accommodation. Although the beach is sometimes noted as being slightly far away, it remains within a reasonable distance, adding to the overall appeal of the apartments.
However, the bedding situation has garnered mixed feedback. While some guests find the beds comfortable, issues such as yellow-stained pillows, old and itchy sheets and lumpy mattresses have been noted. Furthermore, cleanliness and maintenance of bedding require improvement with reports of bed bugs and broken bed bases impacting the overall comfort.
In summary, Maya Apartment Bay View Villas offers a strategically situated, comfortable and scenic stay, complemented by friendly staff and a serene environment. While the overall guest experience is positive, addressing the occasional maintenance and cleanliness issues can elevate the quality of stay significantly.
