Kyriad Saint-Malo Dinard enjoys high praise primarily for its idyllic and strategic location nestled between Dinard and Saint Malo, providing an excellent base for exploring the broader region including Mont Saint Michel and the Emerald Coast. Guests find the location serene yet convenient with easy access to key roads and Saint Malo's ferry port.
The breakfast experience stands out for its variety and quality, featuring fresh bread and local products. The spacious dining room offers spectacular views of the Rance River and gluten-free options and Nespresso coffee are particularly appreciated. While some find it slightly overpriced, most feel it is worth the cost.
Although the hotel lacks an on-site restaurant, it compensates with convenient meal kits and jarred dishes. While these solutions are seen as adequate, suggestions for improvement exist. Guests needing traditional dining can drive to Dinard, guided by helpful evening staff known for their excellent local recommendations.
Rooms are generally described as clean, spacious and comfortable, though some criticisms note smaller attic or family rooms and occasional outdated features. Modern bathrooms and balcony amenities are appreciated, despite some narrow bathtubs and issues with ventilation.
Cleanliness is a strong point with rooms and bathrooms regularly described as spotless. This high standard of maintenance extends throughout the hotel, creating a comfortable environment.
The hotel's staff consistently receive accolades for their friendliness, professionalism and eagerness to assist, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. The reception is particularly noted for its warm and top-notch service.
Free wifi is reliable and accessible, while parking facilities are ample, convenient and secure, enhancing the experience for drivers. Family accommodations are commendable with spacious rooms, thoughtful amenities and a calm, accessible environment, despite some rooms being slightly small for larger families.
Bedding quality and room comfort are standout features with many guests highlighting the superb and comfortable mattresses. Even minor issues with bed size or firmness do not overshadow the overall positive sentiment.
As a three-star hotel, Kyriad Saint-Malo Dinard balances quality and affordability well, meeting most expectations for its category. While there are minor areas for improvement like soundproofing, the hotel remains a good choice for budget-conscious travelers.
Accessibility feedback is mixed with excellent parking and location but challenges within the hotel itself, such as the lack of an elevator and limited disability aids. Despite these limitations, some rooms do cater well to guests with mobility issues.
Overall, Kyriad Saint-Malo Dinard is recommended for its excellent location, outstanding breakfast, friendly staff and clean, comfortable accommodations, making it a solid choice for travelers seeking a pleasant stay in the region.
