Hollin House Hotel offers a mixed experience in terms of accessibility for guests with disabilities. There are several positive features that stand out for those in need of special accommodations. The hotel provides accessible rooms and ground floor rooms that are wheelchair friendly, as well as walk-in showers which cater to guests with mobility issues. Disabled parking facilities and parking bays are also available upon request, making arrival and departure relatively straightforward. The property is equipped with a lift and a disabled elevator; however, there have been instances of elevators not functioning, which can create accessibility challenges.
The hotel staff receive commendations for their politeness and helpfulness, which positively impacts the experience of guests requiring assistance. Furthermore, the building itself, though a beautiful period property, presents some difficulties. Access around the property can be challenging due to factors like loose gravel, narrow entryways and the need to avoid stairs in some places. Entry to the top floor is particularly difficult as it requires stair access with no ramp available.
In summary, while Hollin House Hotel provides several necessary amenities for disabled guests, careful consideration is needed due to occasional functional issues with elevators and certain structural challenges of the property.

Mottram Hall is a countryside retreat with a prime location that's perfect for those looking to explore the surrounding area. The hotel offers a mixed bag of experiences when it comes to breakfast, dinner, rooms, cleanliness, staff and the spa. The golf course is superb and the beds are comfortable. The hotel is in need of renovation in some areas, but the grounds are stunning. While some guests enjoyed their luxurious stay, others were disappointed by the overpriced meals and poor service. Despite the mixed reviews, Mottram Hall offers 5-star facilities that promise a great getaway or a treat before flying out from the airport.
