Premiere Classe Lyon Est Aeroport Saint Exupery receives notable praise for its strategic location near Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport, making it an ideal stopover for travelers with early departures, late arrivals or those transitioning between flights. The proximity to major roads, highways and the TGV train station, coupled with a reliable shuttle service, adds to its logistical convenience. Guests frequently highlight the hotel’s value for money with affordable rates and practical, clean accommodations that fulfill the needs of budget-conscious travelers.
The breakfast experience at the adjacent Campanile hotel is a positive highlight, offering generous and varied options in a pleasant setting. Guests appreciate the good value for money and the convenience of the 24/7 shuttle service. While the on-site breakfast offers a simpler fare, the overall breakfast service remains satisfactory for most guests.
The dining options available nearby, particularly at the Campanile restaurant, are well-received for their quality and reasonable pricing. Although the restaurant can be crowded during special events and may be closed on weekends, the availability of takeout options and various dining hours cater to late arrivals effectively.
Although small and basic, the clean rooms are functional, suiting short stays well. Some guests found the bedding comfortable and appreciated the cleanliness. The staff at the hotel are consistently praised for their friendliness, attentiveness and professionalism, contributing significantly to a positive guest experience.
Cleanliness remains a mixed bag with some guests noting well-cleaned rooms and diligent cleaning staff, while others reported issues with dust, insects and unpleasant odors. However, the parking facilities are generally seen as a strong point, offering ample space, free parking and electric car charging stations, adding further value to the hotel.
Families find the hotel accommodating with sufficient family rooms and a welcoming atmosphere, though some amenities such as cribs and a family pool are limited.
The WiFi services, however, often fall short of expectations with guests frequently experiencing weak signals and poor connectivity.
In summary, Premiere Classe Lyon Est Aeroport Saint Exupery is a practical and economical choice for travelers looking for proximity to Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport, satisfactory breakfast options, friendly staff and convenient parking. While there are areas for improvement, particularly regarding room cleanliness, WiFi connectivity and some dining logistics, the hotel effectively meets the needs of budget-conscious travelers and families on short stays.
