Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Best Western Plus Richelieu in Limoges is well-commended for its strategic location in the heart of the city. Guests appreciate the hotel's proximity to the old city center, key attractions and quality dining options. Urban amenities such as train stations and supermarkets nearby further add to the convenience. This makes it an ideal choice for both weekend getaways and extended stays, especially for visitors wanting to immerse themselves in the historical and cultural ambiance of Limoges.
The hotel’s breakfast offerings receive widespread praise for their variety and quality with guests noting the extensive and hearty selection available. The breakfast experience is enhanced by the cleanliness and freshness of the dining area, although some guests find the €15 per person price to be on the higher side.
Even though the hotel lacks an on-site restaurant for dinner, room service is well-regarded for its flexibility and friendly staff. For dining out, the hotel provides excellent recommendations, ensuring guests enjoy the local culinary scene.
The hotel rooms are a highlight, described as spacious, clean and well-equipped with modern amenities. Guests enjoy comfortable beds and well-insulated, quiet rooms that provide a peaceful respite despite the central location. Renovated, stylish decorations and functional layouts enhance the overall comfort.
Cleanliness is a consistent strength at Best Western Plus Richelieu. Both the rooms and the hotel environment receive high marks for being spotlessly maintained, adding significantly to guests' comfort and satisfaction.
The staff at the hotel are particularly noteworthy for their friendliness and professionalism. Guests frequently mention the welcoming and helpful nature of the personnel, who enhance the overall experience with their attentiveness and valuable local suggestions.
WiFi at the hotel is largely reliable and fast, catering well to both leisure and business needs. Secure and convenient parking options, though somewhat limited and better suited for smaller cars, add to the overall convenience, especially for those planning to drive.
Family-friendly amenities such as good-sized family rooms and nearby activities ensure a pleasant stay for those traveling with children. However, the hotel could benefit from more baby-friendly facilities.
Beds are frequently highlighted for their comfort, contributing to restful nights and positive guest experiences. Despite differing opinions on the hotel's 4-star rating, the facilities and services generally meet expectations, especially for business travelers, who benefit from tailored amenities and quiet workspaces.
While the hotel has made efforts to accommodate guests with disabilities, certain aspects such as the steep staircase to reception and limited accessible facilities could be improved.
The boutique feel of Best Western Plus Richelieu, alongside its cozy and charming ambiance, is well-appreciated. This, coupled with a relatively welcoming attitude towards pets, makes it a well-rounded choice for various types of travelers.
