The hotel provides complimentary breakfast, though experiences with it vary. Some guests find it satisfactory for starting the day, while others note a lack of variety and quality, with complaints about repetitive menus and basic offerings. Dietary accommodations are limited, and functional issues with breakfast appliances detract from the experience.
Rooms at the Ramada are spacious, but numerous reviews highlight significant issues with cleanliness and maintenance. Concerns include dirty carpets, unpleasant odors, and unhelpful staff, indicating the need for a deep cleaning and refurbishment to improve the guest experience.
Staff interactions are varied, with some guests praising helpful and accommodating service, particularly from certain front desk personnel and night auditors. However, others criticize the service for rudeness and inconsistency, noting a lack of professionalism and limited staff availability.
Bedding experiences at the Ramada are mixed; while some guests find the beds comfortable, many report issues with worn and sagging mattresses. Cleanliness of the bedding is concerning, with complaints about stained sheets and unclean conditions impacting the quality of sleep.
Overall, the Ramada by Wyndham Abbotsford excels in location and accessibility but struggles with upkeep in cleanliness, room maintenance, and consistency in service quality.
