Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
"The Crescent" hotel in Miramar, Central Goa consistently garners acclaim across various aspects, bolstered by a prime location, attentive service and a robust dining experience. The hotel's placement, merely a five-minute walk from Miramar Beach, perfectly balances accessibility and tranquility, making it ideal for both exploration of Panaji and relaxation. Guests particularly treasure the quiet street setting and proximity to popular food outlets. The stunning views from the top-floor bar further accentuate the hotel's charm.
Breakfast at The Crescent often satisfies with a diverse array of healthier and vegetarian options available upon request. While there's room for improvement in variety and complexity, the blend of North, South and continental cuisines, combined with the pleasant ambiance and attentive staff, offers a good start to the day.
Raki, the rooftop restaurant, delivers a delightful dining experience praised for its seafood and extensive menu. The classy atmosphere draws a commendable crowd. The F&B team, particularly Mr. Thomas, is recognized for courteous service, greatly enhancing the dining experience.
Rooms at The Crescent receive accolades for their spaciousness, modern design, cleanliness and comfort. Sea-facing rooms provide exquisite views, contributing to a restful stay. Housekeeping generally maintains high standards with some instances of upgrades adding to guest satisfaction. However, occasional reports of unpleasant odors and minor cleanliness issues, including isolated pest sightings, were noted.
Cleanliness reviews are mixed with majority positive feedback highlighting well-kept rooms and good service, but with a few detractors citing standards not always on par with American or European expectations. Despite this, the newer property and responsiveness of staff manage to leave a predominantly positive impression.
Lastly, the hotel's staff stands out for their friendliness, professionalism and commitment to excellent service. Guests frequently laud the team for polite, helpful interactions that create a welcoming and supportive environment. Staff communication and willingness to assist significantly contribute to an enjoyable stay, notwithstanding an isolated comment on tipping expectations.
Overall, The Crescent is celebrated for its enviable location, pleasing dining options, comfortable rooms and exceptional service, establishing it as a preferred choice for visitors to Goa.
