Marriott's Manor Club at Ford's Colony receives widespread acclaim for its picturesque and tranquil location. Nestled in a serene, wooded environment, it provides an ideal retreat while being conveniently close to notable historical sites such as Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown. Guests appreciate the hotel's peaceful setting, family-friendly atmosphere and the gated community feel, offering both seclusion and accessibility to local attractions and amenities within a short drive.
Although breakfast reviews are mixed with some guests desiring a larger restaurant and more variety, there are notable positive mentions of certain breakfast offerings. This suggests that while some enhancements could improve the overall breakfast experience, it currently meets the needs of many.
The rooms at Marriott's Manor Club stand out for their exceptional comfort, cleanliness and spaciousness. Guests frequently highlight the very comfortable beds, large spaces and extensive amenities, making the accommodations perfect for both relaxation and family stays. The décor and thoughtful touches add to the appeal with many reviewers describing the rooms as even more impressive in person than in photographs.
The property's cleanliness is consistently praised with guests noting the immaculate condition of the rooms and the overall property. This high standard of cleanliness contributes to a serene and pleasant environment, enhancing the overall guest experience.
The staff receives exceptional reviews for their friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism. Guests often mention how accommodating and welcoming the employees are with special recognition given to individual staff members who go above and beyond, contributing significantly to a positive stay.
The pool facilities are another highlight, featuring both indoor and outdoor options that cater to a wide range of preferences. The heated indoor pools, along with hot tubs and saunas, add an extra layer of relaxation, making the pool area a favorite among families and guests seeking leisure.
Families find Marriott's Manor Club to be an excellent choice due to its wide array of activities and spacious accommodations. The resort ensures that there is plenty to keep children entertained, including special festive events and family-friendly facilities like living rooms and kitchens, providing both quality time together and privacy.
The comfort of the beds is frequently mentioned with many guests noting that they are some of the most comfortable they have ever slept on. While occasional remarks about the mattresses being too soft or worn out are noted, these are isolated in the context of overwhelmingly positive feedback.
