Hotel Iaccarino, perched atop a mountain in Sant'Agata sui due Golfi, offers a prime location that seamlessly combines the serene charm of its village with easy access to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. Guests rave about the stunning panoramic views of the Bay of Naples, Mount Vesuvius and the Sorrento coastline. The hotel's strategic position makes it an excellent base for exploring nearby notable sites with a convenient free shuttle service to Sorrento enhancing accessibility.
One of the standout features is the breakfast, which receives high praise for its variety, quality and use of fresh ingredients. The buffet offers a diverse selection catering to all tastes, including fresh juices, homemade pancakes, pastries and made-to-order hot beverages. While a few guests noted minor improvements could be made, the consensus is overwhelmingly positive with descriptors like "delicious" and "exceptional" frequently mentioned.
Dinner at the hotel's restaurant receives mixed reviews. Many guests enjoyed the refined cuisine and romantic atmosphere of dining on the terrace with its beautiful views. However, some felt the dinner menu was limited and lacked variety with occasional lapses in the dining service's consistency.
Rooms at Hotel Iaccarino are noted for their spaciousness, cleanliness and comfort, often featuring breathtaking views. While the historic charm of the rooms adds to the appeal, several guests pointed out that the decor and bathrooms could use renovation and noise from adjacent rooms could be an issue. Nevertheless, the overall comfort and cleanliness received positive feedback.
Cleanliness is another area where the hotel strikes a balance. Many guests found the hotel exceptionally clean, praising the diligent housekeeping and well-maintained pool area. However, there were occasional remarks about specific cleanliness issues, such as outdated fixtures and areas requiring a more thorough clean.
The hotel's staff is frequently highlighted for their attentiveness, friendliness and professionalism. Guests appreciate the extra mile taken by staff members, including personalized assistance and warm hospitality, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Specific staff members like the manager Renato and employees Marco and Eliana were often mentioned for their exceptional service.
The pool at Hotel Iaccarino is a significant highlight, appreciated for its cleanliness, size and the stunning sea views it offers from the poolside. Although it closes relatively early and can feel small during peak times, the majority of guests found it a tranquil spot for relaxation.
Parking is another positive aspect with ample free spaces and a valet service ensuring a hassle-free experience for guests. The convenience of the parking arrangement contributes to the hotel's overall appeal.
Families will find Hotel Iaccarino an ideal destination, thanks to its family-friendly atmosphere, clean premises and inclusive nature, even allowing pets. The hotel provides family rooms and suites, catering to both small and large families with facilities that ensure an enjoyable stay for children of all ages.
Lastly, the beds at Hotel Iaccarino are generally praised for their comfort, though some guests experienced issues with beds being pushed together to form doubles, resulting in uneven mattresses.
Overall, Hotel Iaccarino presents a charming retreat with stunning views, excellent breakfast, a helpful and friendly staff and several facilities that cater to both couples and families looking for a memorable Italian getaway.
