Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel Master Club enjoys a prime location at the foot of the picturesque Lake Tequesquitengo, offering guests beautiful lake views and a peaceful atmosphere. Its proximity to Jardines de México enhances its appeal and convenience. Guests often commend the hotel's attentive service, cleanliness and delicious dining options, making it an overall excellent choice for a well-rounded stay.
The breakfast experience at Hotel Master Club is generally positive with many guests praising the variety, taste and completeness of the options. The hotel’s effort to accommodate early risers by offering breakfast earlier than usual is particularly appreciated. However, some guests have noted that the breakfast can be basic or bland and logistical issues like limited inclusivity for children and short breakfast hours could be improved.
Dinner at Hotel Master Club also receives high praise for the quality of food. Nonetheless, the experience is somewhat marred by high prices, slow service and occasional forgotten orders, prompting some guests to seek alternative dining options.
The hotel’s rooms offer mixed experiences. Guests appreciate the stunning sunrise views, comfortable beds and effective air conditioning. However, various maintenance issues, unpleasant odors and outdated amenities detract from the overall comfort. While some rooms have been beautifully remodeled, the inconsistency in room quality and value for money is a concern for many visitors.
Cleanliness at Hotel Master Club is frequently praised with most guests finding the facilities and accommodations very clean. However, there are occasional mentions of dirty conditions in bathrooms, instances of bed cleanliness issues and minor pest problems.
Staff interactions at the hotel vary widely. Many guests highlight the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, particularly singling out individuals for their excellent service. Despite this, there are numerous reports of insufficient staffing, especially during the week, leading to delays and inadequate service. Some guests experienced unhelpful interactions, unmet requests and lapses in communication from the reception and concierge.
The hotel’s pools are a popular feature, particularly appreciated by families with children. The well-maintained, clean pools set in visually appealing surroundings add to the quality of the stay. However, guests have noted that the pools can be cold, especially those near the lake with some mentioning issues like ant infestations and old pool towels.
Guest feedback on the beds is mixed. While some find them super comfortable, a significant number of reviews cite issues with hard mattresses and pillows, contributing to uncomfortable sleep. There are also reports of bed cleanliness issues, such as bites and itching, which need addressing.
Overall, Hotel Master Club excels in location, service and cleanliness but has areas for improvement in dining service, room maintenance and bed comfort. Prospective guests should consider these factors for a more informed decision regarding their stay.
