The breakfast options provided were excellent and couldn't be faulted with a great variety on offer and helpful staff. The dining experience was highly recommendable with perfectly prepared and cooked food, although there were occasional negative comments about the Brasserie food and Xmas Dinner. The rooms were generally comfortable and satisfactory for guests' stay, although some areas may be looking a little dated. The staff were exceptional, providing excellent customer service with a smile. Guests can expect a good night's sleep in the comfortable beds provided in each room. While the hotel could do with some modernising, it remains a comfortable and lovely place with friendly, helpful and clean facilities. Overall, the Mercure Norwich Hotel is an excellent option for travellers looking for a hotel that offers a very good quality of food and a great value for money.
