Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Promisedland Resort & Lagoon in Hualien successfully combines enchanting Spanish-style architecture with meticulously maintained grounds, creating a serene and picturesque setting. Guests can stroll around tranquil lakes, bridges and canals, embracing stunning lake and mountain views. Despite its somewhat remote location, the resort compensates with a wealth of on-site activities and convenient shuttle services, making it easy for visitors to spend an entire day within the property.
The resort's breakfast is often praised for its rich variety, delicious offerings and vegetarian-friendly options, extending service until noon. The dinner experience, although facing some criticisms regarding flavor and variety, is generally commended for its fresh ingredients and satisfying buffet options. Guests particularly enjoy the dining environment and the excellent beer selection.
Accommodations are noted for their cleanliness and spaciousness with luxurious and comfortable rooms featuring scenic balconies. Some minor issues, such as occasional maintenance problems and limited socket availability, are mentioned but do not overshadow the overall positive experience. The staff receives high accolades for their friendliness, attentiveness and exceptional service, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the stay.
Pool facilities, including the outdoor, indoor heated and unique Cave Pools, are celebrated for their beautiful design and relaxing ambiance, catering to both adults and children. Although minor cleanliness issues are occasionally noted, the general sentiment remains highly favorable.
Parking is ample and safe, complemented by a self-service car wash and free shuttle service, though the parking design and check-in process could be improved. The resort provides a family-friendly atmosphere with numerous activities and amenities tailored for children, making it an ideal choice for family vacations.
Despite some inconsistencies in the comfort of the beds and minor maintenance issues, the overall five-star experience is upheld by excellent customer service and a luxurious atmosphere. Business travelers can find well-equipped meeting and conference rooms, even though the resort is not primarily designed for business needs.
In conclusion, Promisedland Resort & Lagoon offers a delightful retreat with a harmonious blend of natural beauty, luxurious accommodations and top-tier service, ensuring a memorable and relaxing stay for all guests.
