Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel Les Chenets, nestled in a tranquil village surrounded by majestic mountains, offers a serene getaway for winter sports enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Its prime location, just a short distance from notable ski resorts like Ancelle and Orcières, makes it an ideal base for skiing adventures, while the stunning mountain views and peaceful countryside provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation.
Guests are treated to a highly praised breakfast experience featuring a generous and varied selection of local products, ensuring a hearty start to the day. The restaurant further elevates the culinary experience with high-quality, flavorful dishes, including a standout blueberry pie, served in a memorable dining environment marked by excellent service and a semi-gourmet menu.
The rooms at Hotel Les Chenets consistently exceed expectations for their 2-star rating, offering ultra cozy, exceptionally clean accommodations with simple yet efficient designs. The balconies provide scenic views of the surrounding mountains and the spacious, modern bathrooms are particularly appreciated. While some minor mentions of old carpets and dated furniture exist, they are far overshadowed by the overall comfort and functionality of the rooms.
Cleanliness is a hallmark of Hotel Les Chenets with guests frequently commending the impeccable state of the entire property. This commitment to hygiene, combined with the hotel's calm and quiet atmosphere, contributes to a very pleasant stay.
The standout feature at Hotel Les Chenets is the exceptional staff. Guests consistently highlight the warm, charming welcome and the staff's attentive and kind nature. The professionalism and accommodating attitude of the management and team ensure that visitors feel well-received and at home. The beds are also noted for their comfort with most guests enjoying restful sleep, though some found the 190 cm bed slightly tight for two people.
Overall, Hotel Les Chenets impresses with its mix of comfort, convenience and charm, making it a recommended choice for anyone seeking a pleasant and restful stay in a beautiful mountain setting.
